True Faith -- part 11
Throughout the Gospels we see the Father
actively working in the Son's life, leading
him along in his plan. Can we not see the
Father at work in our own lives? Or do we
think that the things that befall us in life
are just happenstance, chance, or
coincidence? Can't we see an eternal,
omniscient, all-present God working all
things out for our good, and in accordance
to the good-pleasure of his will? Faith in
the Father and his plan is the legacy given
by Christ to all Christians; and is to be
the sole and dynamic drive for all of us in
our day to day living before God. |

True Faith -- part 10
“Ask of me, and I will make the
nations your inheritance, the ends of
the earth your possession.” Psalms
2:8
In Scripture, when we see that the principle
of asking the Father is applied to the Son,
it tells us that this is a universal
principle, an axiomatic law at work in he
universe. Naturally, it applies to us as
well. It is how things are done. All things
come to us from
the Father, who gives them to us in grace,
as a present. But we must ask him for them!
James 1:5,17,18. |

True Faith -- part 9
When one has lost all, or even many of the
things in life that he has loved, he can get
very discouraged. It can seem that there is
nothing to look forward to in life. But when
he sees that God is not through with him and
still has other things for him, then he
knows that he has a hope and a future. He
has something that he can put his faith in
gear towards; something that he has to look
forward to each day and be moving towards. |
May 2020 Newsletter - True
Faith --
part 8
Faith believes the Word of God and what it
teaches about God's plan; that He has put us
here on earth and saved us for a purpose
known only fully by Him. Thus, faith gives
believers hope and a personal sense of
destiny, motivating us to keep on going
forward each day, regardless of the
difficulties involved, or past failures.
Faith moves believers to action; taking us
out of passive resignation, defeat, and
failure complexes, and into positive forward
progress. It is not just positive thinking
or having a cheery outlook on life.
It is totally God-centered and focused on
the Word of God.

All of humanity wrestles with fear stemming
out of our own insecurities, and we want to
be protected from our fears. We wear armor
in battles, use walls and fences; we want
air bags and seat belts for our cars; have
police officers to protect our communities;
we buy guns; store food; take karate; act
mean; all because we're afraid! We
want to be shielded from the things in life
that we're afraid of.

True Faith -- part 4
One of the most difficult things for us to
do in life, is to trust God in the midst of
our own suffering. We want answers, help,
medicine, or just relief. We want to be
healed or cured, and we want it now!
The encouraging thing is that suffering
according to the will of God helps
accomplish His divine purpose for our lives.
“So then, those who suffer according to
God's will should commit themselves to
their faithful Creator and continue to do
good.”

With faith playing such a crucial
role in the Christian's relationship to God,
it seems imperative that we understand it as
completely as possible. Failure to
understand and utilize the principles of
faith will lead the believer in Christ to
fall short of the grace of God in his
day to day living, and will bar the
unbeliever from ever entering into the grace
of God, which comes through his Son Jesus
Christ. |

Repentance -- part 2
Who needs to repent? Obviously
unbelievers; in that they need to have a
change of mental attitude of who they are
before God – that they need to turn their
souls toward Christ in faith and at the same
time, turn their souls away from the world
and everything in it.
For the believers in Christ; if the teaching
of the Word of God isn't the most important
thing in our lives, we need to repent.

November '17 -- Christian
Repentance -- part 1
The message of repentance has been
often preached down throughout the years and
usually directed towards unbelievers. But
what does it mean to repent? Does it mean to
feel sorry for our sins? Is it only for
unbelievers, or is it directed toward the
people of God also? Is it something that
occurs after we feel sorry for our sins? And
what does “godly sorrow” mean anyway? |

We can choose to deal with our
emotions and start living in the freedom of
the spiritual life dynamic, or stay stuck in
our emotions for the rest of our lives. God
gives us the freedom to choose; but he also
laid upon us the consequences of our
decisions, whether good or bad. |
August '17 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 44
It is the spiritual life dynamic that
prevents the pressures and trials of life
from being converted into stress in the
soul. Stress in the soul will be quickly
converted into sin in the soul. The first
thing that happens is the activation of the
emotional complex of the soul. It typically
starts with fear, then anger, then the rest
come flooding in. |
July '17 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 43
Regardless of what our problem is;
regardless of what the source of our
pressure is: finances, health, job, people,
etc. human solutions are never he answer!
Only divine solutions can solve our problems
and they are found in what David did; he
turned to the Lord in faith and prayer.
Psalms 34:6, “This poor man cried, and
the LORD heard him, and saved him out of
all his troubles.” |
June '17 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 42
When we meditate on the Word of God,
faith starts to be activated in our souls.
That faith coupled with biblical confession
of sin, leads to filling of the Holy Spirit,
which brings love joy, peace, etc... Now we
are operating in the New Nature and all the
garbage in our souls starts to go away. It
doesn't change a past hurt or wrong
suffered, but its destructive dynamic no
longer torments our souls. |
May '17 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 40
Believers will accumulate scar tissue
on their souls before they were saved and
even after they are saved. Fear, anger, and
guilt (and other fleshly emotions) pinch off
the spiritual flow in the soul, and over
time will eventually close off sections of
the soul entirely. |
April '17 -- Dealing With

Some have an ecstatic “experience”
and no one is going to tell them that it's
not a spiritual one, regardless of what the
Bible teaches! They then justify it by
picking out words and phrases from the Bible
which they falsely construe to back it up.
We all need careful exegesis and analysis of
those Scriptures to find out what they're
really saying, not what we want them to say. |
September '16 -- Dealing
With Emotions - Review -- part 32
The Belt of Truth: It takes the
consistent intake of doctrinal teaching,
over a long period of time, to build up
layers of protection so that our emotions

When there the absence of faith in

soul will be activated and we are totally
out of fellowship, the spiritual life

July '16 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 30
Due to the deluding influence of
Satan, his world system, and the body's
sinful nature being so strong, we are easily
pulled away from the spiritual life dynamic

It is only Bible Doctrine metabolized

May '16 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 28
People won't admit to their illusions
because they think they're real! Only
through Bible Doctrine and spiritual growth
will the believer go through the process of
disillusionment where he will finally see
and accept the truth. It's like trying to
show someone they're wrong when they're
convinced they're right! Or trying to show
an unbeliever he's on the path to Hell when
he's convinced there's no Hell! |
April '16 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 27
God is in charge of our spiritual
growth and is always working to remove the
scar tissue in our souls. His goal is to
make us like Christ in our souls! First is
in the area of the mind (the seat of
thinking); normally taking around 6 months
to 2 years. Next is in the heart, (the seat
of the emotions), but it is much more
difficult to remove scar tissue in the heart
and it takes a lot longer time to do so. The
heart is slow and reluctant to change. |
March '16 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 26
When we don't know why we are
suffering we are to seek the face of God in

action he would have us to follow.

first things we must do is choose whether we

but without loving his Word they aren't.
What they do love, instead, is pleasure,

self-deception, they have a form of
godliness, but deny its power because what
is absent is the filling of the Holy Spirit

May '15 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 16
We have got to understand that the
emotions we feel today Adam and Eve did not
experience before they sinned! They did not
know fear, anger, guilt, grief, jealousy, or
even the concept of human love and happiness
we experience today. And there is no way
that we, as fallen sinful beings, can know
what unfallen, sinless beings experienced in
their souls. |
April '15 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 15
We have problems recognizing our emotions
because many of them have been suppressed,
or repressed down into the subconscious. It
is a defense mechanism we learned back in
childhood to avoid pain, embarrassment,
ridicule, or repercussion from others. While
it helped us to survive as children, it
becomes destructive as adults.
How can we recognize and confess that which
we have kept hidden in the sub-conscious? |
March '15 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 14
We need to intensely focus ourselves on
prayer, faith and the things pertaining to
the spiritual life. We are to keep praying,
keep in the Word and keep going over the
promises, until we get the faith to prevail
over the situation! We are to do it
ourselves and it is helpful to seek those
positive to this concept, who will help us
in doing so. |
February '15 -- Dealing

God often puts believers through situations
that parallel what they went through in the
past, to bring up those old negative
feelings that are hindering their spiritual
growth and walk with Him. These new
situations, (tests, trials, pressure),
create tension in the soul, which is
something we've been trying to avoid. This
forces us to get the doctrinal answers for
our souls, thus creating growth and more
faith.

March '14 -- Dealing With
Emotions - Review -- part 2
We need to focus on the sort of
things that contribute to our peace of mind,
and having a tranquil environment. And the
most important thing we need is a
disciplined, daily study of Bible Doctrine.
This is being proactive for the good,
instead of reacting to what is bad! |
February '14 -- Dealing
With Emotions - Review -- part 1
Our emotions have a negative impact
on our souls and on living in the spiritual
life dynamic. If our emotions can prevent
our intake and metabolization of Bible
doctrine, which our new natures so
desperately need, then we can see how
detrimental they can be. And remember,
emotions are a part of the flesh nature not
the new nature. |

November '13 -- The Divine
Council --
part 3
Yahweh states in the Divine Council that the
elohim/gods are going to be cast down from
their lofty position, that their immortality
is going to be taken from them, and that
they are going to die like Adam. |
October '13 -- The Divine
Council --
part 2
When Yahweh created the earth and the man,
he placed Adam as the ruler over the world.
Adam had dominion over the earth and all
that was on it. But when he failed in that
one simple test, he lost all that. So now
what? This is where the elohim came in and
were given rulership over the earth. As it
says, Satan is the god of this age and the
ruler over the world.

September '13 -- The
Divine Council -- part 1
All Mediterranean cultures had a conception
of a divine council of gods that ruled the
affairs of the cosmos. While other nations
had their theology on this divine council
studied and handed down over the
generations; Israel's theology on the divine
council was given to them through the
prophets in God's Word. |
August '13 -- Living Our
Own Spiritual Life
Eusebeia (usually translated
"godlyness") refers to the believer in
Christ living life in their very own
spiritual life while here on the earth.
Which will be followed by them living in
their own spiritual life for all eternity in
a resurrection body. |
July '13 -- Ministers Of
The Spiritual Life Dynamic
We will see is that Paul, the other
apostles, as well as pastor teachers, are
servants – not servants of people, churches,
or church denominations, but of God! This
service springs forth out of their love and
grace; Their love for God and their grace to
the people of God. The apostle gift gives
them the authority to carry out their
service to God, just the same as the
Pastor-Teacher gift gives us the authority
to carry out our ministry for God! |
June '13 -- Escaping The
Snare of The Devil - 2Tim. 2:26
-- part 3
The only way out of the the Devil's snare
for this arrogant believer is to have a true
and genuine change of mind and heart toward
the Word of God, toward the entire doctrinal
system of God. But, because of his
entrenched arrogance toward the authority
structures that God has set in place, it
becomes doubtful that he will. |
May '13 -- Escaping The
Snare of The Devil - 2Tim. 2:26
-- part 2
It is God who first moves man toward
repentance and conversion. But he can be so
permeated by the evil he is involved in that
he resists such turning to God. And he can
become so arrogant and bitter that he will
not turn to the Lord, or return to the Lord.
|
April '13 -- Escaping The
Snare of The Devil - 2Tim. 2:26

This passage is directed toward believers in
Jesus Christ, who through either their own
negative volition in rejecting Bible
Doctrine, or through their own carelessness
allowed themselves to drift away from it,
have now been taken captive by Satan and are
doing his will in their lives. |

part 5
Do you just wish that you felt
better, or do you really want
to feel better? You have to want to
change; You have to want to seek
after anything and everything that will
help you. You have to make a
decision to be well and healthy; Pray
to God to be well and healthy; Commit
yourselves to the course of health,
and then pursue after it the rest of
your lives! |
July '12 -- Health and
Healing --
part 4
Weakness leads to sickness and is just the
opposite of strength and health. “Is
anyone of you (in the church) sick?” The
scriptural approach to sickness is very
interesting. In Jas. 5:14 the Apostle
James is telling them to call for the
elders of the church, which indicates that
they were familiar with this area of
dealing with sickness in their society. |
June '12 -- Health and

Prayer is the solution for the times we
are suffering because of our emotions.
This is so important to us all, because
our emotional state can adversely affect

stands throughout it and that is the
matter of authority and Bible Doctrine.
The Apostle James tells us that God is
opposed to the proud, but gives grace to
the humble. He commands us to submit to
the authority of God and to resist the
devil. "Submit yourselves therefore
to God. Resist the devil, and he will
flee from you." James 4:7 |
May '06 -- A Vexed Soul
A tormented soul comes about for the
average believer as the result of a
breakdown of not having the inner
spiritual dynamic, that God has provided
for us all, actively operating on the
inside in their soul, and from being
exposed to a variety of negative external
concepts surrounding the believer in the
society. |
April '06 -- Angry Wives
God has designed marriage to be a blessing
to both the man and his wife, and the home
to be a place of tranquility, a place
where one can go to relax, a place for
healing, but in so many homes today in our
modern world marriage has become a setting
of ongoing hostility between the husband
and wife and the home a battle ground. |
March '06 -- The World
In the Old Testament the concept of the
world, or the kosmos, is never
used, only the words the heavens and the
earth, but in the New Testament it is
referred to many times. And it can refer
to several things depending on the
context: the earth itself, the inhabitants
of the earth, the universe, and the system
of control that Satan uses to control the
people of the earth and keep them in
bondage. |
February '06 -- Sin and
Human Good
"For I delivered unto you first of all
that which I also received, how that
Christ died for our sins according to
the scriptures".
1 Corinthians 15:3 |
January '06 --
Fellowship with the Father
One of the most commonly used words found
throughout churches today in Christianity
is fellowship. But it is used mainly in
the context of fellowship between fellow
believers in Christ. "We had great
fellowship with each other", or they talk
about their fellowship hour down at the
church. |

November '05 -- Doctrine
of Election
For several centuries now Christianity has
been divided over the subject of
Arminianism, where man in free will can
choose for salvation, and the doctrine of
election, where God sovereignly chooses
individuals for salvation. This is a vast
doctrinal field to cover and one can spend
years bringing forth the exegesis on the
subject. |

September '05 -- The
Proper Application of the Doctrine of
Election
This is a short study covering 37
points...
1. The doctrine of election, along with
the millions of other Christian doctrines,
is basically for believers in Christ only.
2. The doctrine of the gospel, where
Christ died for our sins, was buried and
raised again, and that salvation comes by
faith alone in Christ alone is the only
Christian doctrine for the unsaved. |

July '05 -- Whole
Counsel Training
"For I have not shunned to declare
unto you all the counsel of God."
Acts 20:27. As Paul was
returning back to Jerusalem, he called to
himself the elders of the church at
Ephesus to impart to them certain
doctrinal concepts. In this matter he told
them that he had communicated to them the
whole counsel of God. |
June '05 -- The
Disappearance of Grace Believers
Pride, carnality, worldliism,
idolatry, hedonism, materialism, lust
gratification, human good, self
righteousness, debauchery, moral and
immoral degeneracy, came into the picture
as the people of God turned away from the
Word of God. We are seeing it today as
David saw it in his day and wrote about it
in Psalm 12. |
May '05 -- Romanism
versus Christianity
There are many Christians today who
think that the Roman Catholic Church is a
Christian church and that people can get
saved by being a member of it and by
holding to its teachings. As always
personal issues are never the issue, but
what does the Word of God have to say on
this matter. |
April '05 --- Holiness
and Godliness
" But the day of the Lord will come as
a thief in the night; in the which the
heavens shall pass away with a great
noise, and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat, the earth also and the
works that are therein shall be burned
up. Seeing then that all these
things shall be dissolved, what manner
of persons ought ye to be in all holy
conversation and godliness,"
2 Peter 3: 10, 11 |
March '05 -- Sons of
Bible Doctrine
"Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye
children: for blessed are they that keep
my ways." Proverbs 8:32.
It has been said that doctrine
divides. It does! It divides
the sheep from the goats; the saved from
the unsaved; the true believer in Christ
from the false Christian. |
February '05 -- Demonic
Fear
"But the Spirit of the LORD departed

LORD troubled him. And Saul's

evil spirit from God troubleth thee."
1 Samuel 16:14,15 |
January '05 -- Faith
I.D.E.A.S.
"Whatsoever things ye ask for, by means
of prayer, believing, ye shall
receive." Our faith should
soar and our confidence in the Lord grow
because that means that the "sky's the
limit" for all believers in Christ! |
